i think mom is nervous. at breakfast, she almost poured orange juice into her cereal bowl instead of milk. dad doesnt seem worried. he knows why mom is acting a little funny. today is her first day at a new job.
my mom builds bridges. some of them look heavy and strong. others look light, as if they are just hanging in the air. mom says the light bridges are just as strong as the heavy ones.
mom is an excellent bridge builder, even at home. once, we almost filled my whole room with bridges. we used boxes, blocks, pots, pans, and even the dogs dish. it was great.
i know mom has tons of great bridge ideas, so she shouldnt be nervous. i guess she just wants to practice making one more bridge before she goes to work.
