directions

1. preheat oven to 375 degrees f.

3. separate biscuits
4. make 5 (3/4 inch deep) cuts evenly around the outside edge of each biscuit to resemble flower petals
5. melt butter in a microwave safe bowl, place paper towels over the bowl. microwave butter until completely melted, about 10 seconds.
6. in a small bowl, combine sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon. mix well
7. dip each biscuit into the melted butter and then into the sugar mixture to coat
8. place biscuits on a foil lined cookie sheet.
9. cut cherries in 1/2, place in the center of the biscuit cut side down. if using jelly/jam put a small scoop in the center
10. bake for 8 - 10 minutes, until edges are golden brown, serve warm
